Big House The roof shape was designed to resemble a house in order to make it a "big house" in the town, together with a complex facility planned on the adjacent site.We aimed to create an environment that feels like a home with a sense of calm and security, not only for the children who spend their days at the preschool, but also for the local residents and people who look out the windows of the Nambu Line.Central Playroom The playroom is located in the center of the fan shape with a vaulted ceiling above, and the nursery rooms are lined up on the yard side.Also, when children go to and from the nursery, they always go through the playroom to go to and from the entrance, which creates interaction among the children of different ages.Warm and inviting preschool building using wood as much as possible The exterior walls of the first and second floors of the preschool building are made of reinforced concrete, but the roof is made of wood so that wooden beams and other wooden structures can be seen when looking up.Even in the reinforced concrete construction, the floors, waist walls, furniture, and other areas that children come into contact with on a daily basis are finished with wood as much as possible, creating a space where children can be energetically active surrounded by the warmth of wood.
