The Kitagin Ballpark is planned as a "ballpark for everyone," with an all-weather indoor practice field, event plaza, kids' stadium, and other facilities concentrated around the main all-artificial turf baseball stadium, to be enjoyed all year round by both baseball players and non-baseball players.The baseball stadium is a high-standard baseball stadium equipped with functionality and comfort to satisfy all players, operators, and spectators, including an all-artificial turf field, LED nighttime lighting, a large LED scoreboard, indoor bullpens with three lanes each for first and third base, fully equipped tournament operation rooms, and spectator seating for 20,000 people.The indoor practice field, training room, and running course have been developed as facilities that can be used for a wide range of purposes, from daily health to improving athletic performance.There is also a "Kids Stadium," a mini baseball field surrounded by wooden playground equipment, indoor kids' bouldering and net playground equipment, and a "Kenken Plaza" located on the roof of the indoor practice field.The ballpark is also equipped with barrier-free facilities, including 100 wheelchair seats, one of the largest in Tohoku, and 40 wheelchair parking spaces, and is expected to contribute to the improvement of sports culture for residents and citizens of the prefecture as a ballpark that everyone can enjoy.
