体験する科学館
本施設は、従来の科学館とは異なり展示物を見せるのが目的ではなく体験する科学館として計画され、展示物がないのが最大の特徴である。さまざまな実験室が中心的な空間となり、全体の構成は遊環構造に基づいている。エントランス上部に位置する実験ショーを行なうレクチャーラボの形態は、遠心分離機をモチーフにしたものである。
A hands-on science hall
Different from conventional science museums that simply exhibit items, this facility was designed as a hands-on science hall, and its main feature is the lack of objects for display only. The central space is taken up by various experiment rooms with an overall construction based on the concept of circular play system. The shape of the lecture lab, located above the entrance and serving as a place for hands-on shows, is based on a centrifuge motif.
